Cafe Madrid in Dusseldorf

Nice place, good food.

Nice ambience.

Unfortunately, the Italian country wine has become very expensive, currently increased by 20% in Corona times, that is, 1 large carafe now costs € 14.90 - as I said country wine from the large bottle.

Coffee is great here, good breakfast options.

Operation absolutely OK. Food was delicious. Corona rules were followed very well. Everything great. Prices very high !! I like to pay if the Corona rules are adhered to. Then I feel good.

Friendly service, good goods, always happy.

Tip-top tappas. The service was attentive and very friendly. There are no toilets in the old town of Düsseldorf without begging plates in the localities, you have to know. If you find one anyway, someone has probably failed ... This is a hint for visitors from outside ...

The food tasted nice, but I ordered a salmon with ratatouille and it came with a salad. Then I asked about the ratatouille and they gave me a red sauce with onion and capsicum.

The apple pie was very expensive ... 4.50 € ... and not particularly ... The female waitress was unfortunately unfriendly.

Crowded

Spanish tapas and wine, nice option in the middle of a busy area.

Our experience was really bad. The tomato soup was sour and we got the wrong soup. Honestly, the tomato soup tasted like store bought tomato souce with added water and sour cream. The burger was good in taste, but it was 100% a frozen patty. Would not recommend to eat anything other than snacks here.

Worst service ever experienced in a restaurant in Germany. We wanted to order more drinks and 40 minutes nobody came to our table. When I got up and wanted to order at the bar, I was rude communicated it comes immediately a service. We waited another 20 minutes. Never again! ??

Excellent (and cheap) fare in the heart of old town Düsseldorf. The vieggie burger was amazing.

Seems like a very nice cafe. When we group of dutch people entered the cafe, the waiter was shouting about other dutch customers. Very unprofessional..... hopes he had a good day.

The Diablo is TO DIE FOR. Try it! I miss it every time I order a drink!

Café Madrid was a wonderful restaurant to take a break from walking and enjoy some delicious food. The waiting staff speaks broken English, so prep your best German speaking abilities when you arrive. After ordering the food and drinks came out reasonably quick, especially considering the restaurant was packed when we ate. I recommend Café Madrid, it's a great restaurant to get a quick bite.
